The man behind the camera …

Hey! It’s the man himself behind Vilma Visuals. I'm a portrait photographer serving Jacksonville, FL, and surrounding areas*, dedicated to capturing stunning and timesless images.

Currently, I shoot anything from 1-on-1 “on-location” portrait shoots, engagements, anniversaries, headshots, couples, and maternity shoots, to family photos, and small gatherings.

My Origin Story

Since the dawn of social media, I've been fascinated with photography of all sorts. I used to run a photography curation page on both Instagram and Tumblr for years prior to my own start. This passion grew to the point where I decided to pick up my first camera during my last semester of college.

The name may seem simple, but it truly came as a surprise on a college graduation trip to Los Angeles, CA in the summer of 2020 with my brothers. It was a humbling experience to visualize the possibilities of life unfolding before us, allowing us to imagine what our futures could look like, depite our upbringing. Thus, Vilma Visuals was born.

I have come so far already through the help of friends, family, and loyal clients but I am nowhere near finished. Let’s take this journey together!
